DreamyPleasures Give Away!

There is a new freebie in town and it is coming to you from Dreamypleasures!! Dreamypleasures is a home based candle company that is run by Mrs. Nina! Mrs. Nina has spent the last years perfecting her candle making skills. Nina started making candles in her home when she was a little girl and has been making them seriously since 2004. She makes the candles in her home with her kitchen serving as her workshop. While we love the outcome, her husband isn't always a big fan of the mess! But, let me tell you, her candles are worth the mess! They are great!!! The wax Nina uses makes her candles comes from domestically grown soybeans and she has dozens of scents to choose from.
Nina has seasonal candles, jars of candles, tea lights, tarts, pillars, votives... if you need it, she can make it! And she can make it in the scent you love best!
Not only does Nina make candles, she also makes some FANTASTIC body creams! She makes a whipped Shea Btter cream that is wonderful for dry skin! It is fantastic and trust me on this one, it does wonders for your feet and elbows! I use my jar of it everyday!

So you might be asking what is up for grabs from this wonderful little shop? Well, the answer is simple! If you win this give away contest, you will be the winner of some sample votive candles! They will be mailed to you, at no cost to you! To enter, all you need to do is visit Nina's shop and then come back here and post your favorite item... that will get you entered. If you purchase something from her shop, post a second post about that and you will be give 5 entries for this giveaway. If you post about this give away on your blog, post a post about that and it will give you 3 entries for this giveaway! Good luck! The winner will be drawn on 11-20-09, just in time for the holiday! Good luck!

Another freebie to let you know about!

Holiday Bow Giveaway

Meredith at MCTaylor Designs has been kind enough to do another bow giveaway for the fall season! Yah! Thanks Meredith!! This is the fall bow that is up for grabs! It is a medium size bow with lots of dots!
Meredith has had her Etsy shop for over a year but has been crafting much longer than that! She has a shop full of jewelry and bows to meet any one's needs. Meredith started her craft with jewelry and now 11 years later, she is still making jewelry! Meredith does stuff for weddings, proms, holidays, parties... if you need it, she can make it! Meredith expanded her craft to bows after the birth of first daughter. Now a busy mother of two girls, she makes double the bows! For Meredith, her favorite part of bow making is seeing the smiles on the faces of proud Mama's as their little girls wear her bows!

Recently Meredith has been spending her time making holiday bows for the upcoming Fall seasons. She has a SHOP FULL of bows (LOTS on clearance so check them out!) and lots of jewelry! She has offered to do a bow giveaway again. This bow is for a medium size bow. The giveaway will run from Oct. 5 till Oct. 15 so you have TEN DAYS to get in on this!! Below are the "rules" for what you need to do to be entered:

GIVEAWAY POST!!!! All About MCTaylorDesigns

It is time for me to start sharing the work of other Etsyians on my blog! My first person to share with you is another North Carolina Etsy seller named Meredith. Mrs. Meredith is married with a little girl and has another child on they way... one who will be making their grand entrance this summer!!

Meredith has had her Etsy shop for almost a year but has been crafting for longer than that! Meredith has a store full of bows and of jewelry! Meredith started handcrafting jewelry in 1998 for special requests (primarily weddings and proms), private jewelry parties, and local craft festivals. While she started with beaded jewelry, she has expanded her hobby into the world of metal jewelry. Since the birth of her daughter, Meredith has also started making bows for little girls... bows that match outfits for holidays, special occasions, or simply just because! The best part of making bows... well, Meredith says that is easy! It is putting smiles on the faces of proud Mommies when they see their little one adorned with on of her cute bows!!

Meredith has recently been hard at work making Fourth of July bows for her shop and has recently listed several! And, she has offered to GIVE AWAY ONE OF HER BOWS FOR FREE! Meredith is going to send one lucky reader the "4th of July Stars and Rickrack Medium Hair Bow", which is a $10 bow!!! Here are the rules for the giveaway! For one entry, all you need to do is go to Meredith's Etsy store or to her online viewing gallery and pick out your favorite item. Then, you need to come back here and post about it. For one extra entry, post about/link this offer to your blog and come back and leave a comment about it. For three extra entries, purchase something from Meredith and then come back here and leave an additional post about your purchase... it is three extra entries per item so please make sure you say how many items you buy! Either way, make sure you check out her holiday bows, her clearance bows, and her clearance jewelry because she has some GREAT DEALS going on!

The drawing for the bow, a TEN DOLLAR VALUE, will be held in two weeks... on June 23, 2009 so that it has time to get to the winner before any Fourth of July Celebrations start!

Busy Busy!

I have been very busy this week with not only a sick baby (double ear infection) but also with a few custom orders! Check out how sweet these cards came out! They are going to be used as thank you cards for a cupcake themed party! I have also been trying out a new ink that I don't use often. I most often use StazOn ink or Stampin' Up ink. The new ink is Adirondack ink and I have just started using it on projects to see how I like it. So, this ink that is new to me will have a part in the first blog give away that I am doing! I am giving away a set of 4 flat note cards with matching envelopes that have been stamped with a bird sitting on a branch. The stamp is from the Tim Holtz Collection. I have stamped 4 white note cards in Adirondack Caramel. All you have to do to enter is simply go to my Etsy store, have a look around, then come back here and post what your favorite item is. My store is kind of empty right now from being out of commission with morning sickness but hey, you have to start somewhere!! From the feedback on what favorites are, it will point me in a direction for the next blog giveaway!!
Also, if you don't have a link back to your blog, make sure you leave me a way to contact you!! If you have purchased from by store before, just put your first and last name along with the words store shopper! The winner will be drawn on June 1, 2009. GOOD LUCK!!!
